My household and I moved to the USA in 2014 We selected Memphis as our second home to start fresh and construct a much better future.
When I graduated senior high school in 2020, I decided to sign up with the Military Get so I might function full-time to aid support my family financially. Along the way, my parents constantly reminded me of the importance of a college degree. Truthfully, I fought with the decision between picking job over college.
That altered when I found the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I might make my degree 100 % online from a recognized, across the country acknowledged Carnegie R 1 college. The adaptability of the program made it possible to balance job, life, and education. When I signed up, I knew I made the appropriate choice.
As an on the internet trainee, I stayed involved with campus life through career fairs and signing up with pupil companies like the Society of Human Resource Management. I wanted to obtain one of the most out of my university experience and get in touch with individuals who shared my passion for HR.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn semester. Many thanks to the assistance and framework of UofM Worldwide, I was able to complete solid, even making the Dean’s List. I’m taking 4 courses while offering on active duty, and I’m pleased to say I’ll be graduating in May.
Having the ability to offer my nation, support my household, and make my level suggests the world to me. I really feel prepared to take on whatever comes next.
